Vote for New YA Furniture

We are in the process of updating the furniture in the YA Area! We invite you to fill out this survey to share your input and opinions. Ages 12-18 also have the option to enter to win a free book of choice when they complete the survey. This survey will close on Friday, May 10 at 11:45pm. We appreciate your time and thoughtful opinions.

TBR Book Subscription Service

May: No TBR.

June TBR: Coming Soon.

Our monthly subscription box, for ages 13-21, includes library books to read then return, freebies, and snacks. Your freebies this month are related to mysteries, puzzles, and games, while supplies last. This service is offered monthly. Resubmit this form each time you would like another TBR box, up to twice each month. More details are available on the form or by contacting Youth Services staff.

Teen Makerspace:

The YA Area offers space and seating reserved for grades 6-12. Drop in to enter the monthly raffle and for self-service activities, board games, and projects during library hours. These materials and items rotate periodically. This summer’s projects and supplies may include (but are not limited to) coloring tools, fabric painting (please provide your own fabric), embroidery floss, watercolors, 3D pens, button making, color your own stickers, breakout boxes, jewelry making, and more.

Teen Library Group and Volunteer at the Library

This group helps the library and community, but also takes a leadership role in implementing programs, promoting, and advocating for youth services and teens. New members are always welcome. If you are interested in joining the group or being a teen volunteer, please contact Youth Services or fill out this form to get started.

Kits and More

Games & Science Kits– CFPL has games and science kits that you can check out then play in the library or at home.

Break-In Bags- Solve the clues to reveal the prize. Ask to borrow one at the downstairs Youth Services desk.
